This policy is effective from 1/10/2020. Your Data You supply us with the online booking form is used to help us process your holiday booking. We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service and in particular for the following reasons: • We need to know who the party leader is and who else is in your party travelling with you. • Your names and addresses, your contact details, and any special needs or requests that will help us to help you have a successful holiday. • We will need ID i.e.: passport/driving licence or ID number. • You will need to bring the card that you made the payments to us for security and how to return any damage deposit to you after your stay. • If you are booking online via our website, we collect and store your details. We also keep an overview of our bookings (not card details) in a manual file in our office which is only accessed by ourselves. • Your data is used solely for the booking contract between the party leader and ourselves. We would only share it when we are legally required to do so by the UK authorities. There is a legal requirement for accommodation providers to supply on demand from the police certain information about their guests. Information Security In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Using details such as your name and email address are submitted via a contact form or email, this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security. Payment Security We provide an online service that allows you to pay for your booking using your debit or credit card. We do not store or process debit/credit card details on any of our systems; instead we use first data, which is a secure online payment gateway to process payments on our behalf. GDPR We will not pass your details on to any third parties. If you do not wish to receive any communication from us, please let us know. COVID 19 *Special C19 conditions - which may change pre arrival * WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS * If you or your family / party develop symptoms of Covid you must telephone 119 - give this address (as below) and your cottage name / and this mobile number 07814881840 * Please also let me know and return home to isolate please. * If you are unable to travel - you must pay for additional nights stayed - we will help with provision deliveries. * Please bring your own towels / beach towels * Later check in / earlier check out times may apply - but as advised above for now * So sorry but please bag up all bed linen on departure day and pop in black bin liners provided and open windows * Make use of the dishwasher please * Please adhere to after ‪4.30pm‬ check in and before/by ‪10 am‬ check out * We cannot allow earlier check ins as we have a lot of extra prep to do. * Tourist attractions and pubs/restaurants are all making their own decisions re opening - please kindly respect that please check their websites before travelling to them * Ilfracombe and Combe Martin have supermarkets - fab bakeries/ green grocers etc. * Berrynarbor nearby has a brilliant local village shop and post office * Booking is transferable to later dates this year or next - if there is a further situation with C19 and another lockdown * NB any other reason to cancel or amend - our normal terms will apply - please take out insurance * Please practice social distancing- wear masks and gloves * Bring extra sanitiser. * #stay safe please * Have a lovely time in very different way - the open air and sea will do you lots of good. * * How will the Coronavirus restrictions impact your stay? We hope that you have all been keeping safe and well during lockdown. Our absolute priority Is to keep everyone as safe as possible. We have reviewed all aspects of our operation and will continue to do so according to Government guidance, and whilst we know that some things will have to change, it is vital we work this way to keep you as safe as possible. There is plenty of outside space to play, roam and enjoy the fresh air and we’re confident you will still have a relaxing break with us and enjoy our friendly and welcoming hospitality at a distance.... Extensive Risk Assessments and health and safety guidelines have been prepared and our team have been fully trained and supplied with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) so that they are ready to welcome you safely for both you and themselves. We would kindly ask you to use the hand gel especially before touching door handles Please bring your own hand sanitiser to carry around to use for your peace of mind. We have followed industry guidelines for COVID 19 cleaning and are using extensive anti-viral products. Every accommodation will be fully cleaned and sanitised before each stay. Linens are washed on high 90 degree heat, with added sanitisation. All non-essential items and decorative items will be removed from the accommodation. It is important that social distancing of 2m is maintained. We will also be keeping our distance but available at all times by phone/ what’s app / email and messenger should you need anything. Please make sure that hands are washed often especially after touching gates, chairs and communal items. Please note that there are no day visitors allowed, only booked residents. Prior to arrival all guests who have booked with us will receive full details of our operation and what to do on arrival/check in. BOOKINGS Should you wish to book please visit our website Please note that should our complex need to close relating to Covid or government rules then we will move you to a new date. Should you need to cancel for any reason then our terms and conditions will apply so we recommend that you take out holiday insurance. If you are feeling unwell or have been told to self-isolate you must stay at home and follow the latest Government advice.
